Sunday lunch: the 4 adults and 2 teenagers in our group each ordered different dishes and found everything to be delicious. The delicate flavour of my parsnip and apple soup was outstanding. And the chef’s twist on sticky toffee pudding alone is worth a return visit. And the roast potatoes? Perfect! The atmosphere was also terrific, the manager was incredibly welcoming: all in all it was a wonderful surprise to see The Old Mill restaurant brought back to life by the enthusiastic new chef and his team. We look forward to going again soon.

What a beautiful little find! We stayed for 2 nights for my friend's birthday and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Location is superb, beautiful views, fantastic service, spacious rooms with everything you might need, very comfy beds, friendly and helpful staff, stunning interior. Unfortunately we have not had the chance to have food there as we were out hiking all day every day, but judging by the quality of their breakfast, I am sure their food is as great as everything else is! Thank you so much for your hospitality and we will definitely be back! :)

We stayed here for a night and everything was great. The staff were very friendly, and the room was really nice with a great view. They even had a delicious vegan option on their breakfast menu. The area is very lovely, and the walk into town is very easy and picturesque. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a friendly and cozy place to stay while in Salisbury.

We visited Salisbury for the day, stayed the night at the old mill hotel. Located right next to the water meadows which have a fabulous view of the cathedral. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Nice selection of beer, good food and nice aesthetics in yhe bar. Room was lovely and s good size, nice views of the river from our window. All in all a lovely time was spent at the Old Mill hotel.

What a cool and quirky place and we loved it very much. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Tons of old world ambiance and history. We had delicious food and warm service. The pub area is classic and fun, cozy and friendly vibe. An easy walk to town and views of the cathedral out some of the windows. We'll definitely be back. The only complaint was that our top floor room was a little cold and they didn't seem to be able to remedy that while we were there. A minor detail since the weather wasn't that cold.

My friends and I arrived at this wonderful place near the Meadows (famous for the great John Constable painting of the Cathedral) Formerly a mill, it has a river running along side it shallow enough for fishing. This lovely location and building is a great retreat for a quiet drink. The interior is a mix of old and new tastefully decorated. The restrooms are immaculately clean with tiled walls and floors. Spotless! I would like to stay in the hotel part one day just for the experience. Very dog friendly and, a friendly dog is behind the bar too! Thoroughly enjoyed and recommend it as part of a walk along the river.

We ‘popped’ in for a pint and stayed for lunch. A beautiful day and a trip down memory lane took us to this wonderful place. Friendly bar staff greeted us. We ordered our food which was a ciabatta and fish and chips. Everything arrived in good time and was delicious. We enjoyed chatting to one of the managers. The staff all seemed cheerful and helpful. A beautiful building in stunning surroundings. Very dog friendly; we will be back.
